The firm served as counsel to the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 cases of SunPower and its debtor affiliates. The debtor was a leader in the residential solar energy and storage market in North America for over 30 years; over half a million homes in the U.S. were retrofitted or constructed with a SunPower solar energy system. Faced with a severe liquidity crisis, the company filed the chapter 11 cases and pursued an expedited sale and plan process. Following confirmation of the plan, the firm represents the creditor trust formed in the case.
