With the firm’s assistance, the debtors obtained expedited confirmation of their prepackaged chapter 11 plan, pursuant to which the company will emerge from bankruptcy deleveraged by $1.2 billion with certain senior lenders to be paid in full, the first lien lenders to receive new equity interests, and general unsecured creditors to be paid in full or otherwise reinstated. The plan was unanimously accepted by the voting classes and was confirmed less than six weeks after the case filing.
