The Rights and Duties of Insurers and Insureds Under Self-Insured Retentions

Iain Nasatir is the co-author of a recent article for the Fall 2020 issue of The Brief, the American Bar Association’s magazine for lawyers practicing in tort and insurance law. The piece discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic will likely lead to an increase in self-insured retention (SIR) insurance programs, and describes some of the coverage disputes that can arise under an SIR insurance program.
