Paul J. Labov

Mr. Labov represents clients in both chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings, including ad hoc creditor groups, trade vendors, landlords, and trustees, in industries including retail, energy, and health care. Mr. Labov focuses on representing Official Committees in large, complex chapter 11 cases. He also represents and advises private equity firms in the purchases and sales of distressed debt and assets. 

Mr. Labov has been recognized for his work in bankruptcy and financial restructuring by New York Super Lawyers, and was recognized by New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2013-2017.

Mr. Labov is a graduate of George Washington University, and earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and is resident in our New York office.
