Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 case of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg, New York, which serves all or portions of eight counties in northern New York. The Diocese filed its case in the Northern District of New York in order to maximize its assets for the benefit of the estate and its creditors, including abuse victims, and provide a fair, orderly claims administration process. The firm continues to advise the committee on all case issues including insurance matters, discovery, mediation, and settlement efforts with the debtor and insurance carriers.
