PSZJ to Represent Foreign Representative in Nexii Chapter 15 Bankruptcy Filing

January 11, 2024

Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones is pleased to announce that it will serve as co-counsel to the foreign representative in the District of Delaware bankruptcy court for Vancouver-based sustainable construction pioneers Nexii Building Solutions Inc. and its affiliates in their chapter 15 cases.

As the sole manufacturer of Nexiite, an energy-efficient wall panel used in high-performance buildings, the company sought protection in Canada under the CCAA and in the United States under chapter 15 in the face of financing difficulties, mounting overhead costs, and slow growth.

The PSZJ team comprised of Steven Golden, Colin Robinson, and Brooke Wilson will work alongside co-counsel Nathan Rugg, Alex Berk, and Jake Andreasen of Barack Ferrazano, Kirschbaum, and Nagelberg LLP in the cross-border cases before United States Bankruptcy Judge J. Kate Stickles.
