Imagine LA Recognizes Teddy Kapur for Service as Volunteer and Board Chair
Teddy Kapur was recently recognized by Imagine LA, the nonprofit organization working to end the cycle of family poverty and homelessness, for his years of service as a volunteer mentor and the chair of the board of directors. Since 2018, Teddy served as Imagine LA's board chair and helped the organization grow by nearly 500%. Along with his work on the board, he also participated as an Imagine LA volunteer mentor, where he helped and supported a single mother with three daughters who had recently experienced homelessness.
"Focus on personalized mentorship, family support, and expanding opportunities are what makes Imagine LA so special,” says Teddy of the organization that, under his advocacy and leadership, has evolved its core program to better meet the needs of families and youth emerging from homelessness.
