Jason Rosell Speaks to Law360 on the Legality of Cannabis Receiverships

Jason Rosell was recently quoted in Sam Reisman’s Law360 article “Judge To Tackle Legality of Cannabis Receiverships.” The article discusses how a federal judge’s upcoming ruling regarding whether she can appoint a receiver to oversee a company that handles funds for marijuana retailers could impact the entire cannabis industry. According to Mr. Rosell, if the court appoints a federal receiver, it “in theory swings the doors open for cannabis-related bankruptcies" and “puts into question the decisions that have dismissed cannabis-related bankruptcy cases.”
