Big Apple Circus

The firm was pro bono counsel to the creditors’ committee appointed in the chapter 11 case of The Big Apple Circus, a nonprofit performing circus and school for the instruction and artistic development of circus arts. The company commenced the case in November 2016 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. It was sold as a going concern and will continue the iconic circus and the charitable missions it provides to the community after a one-year hiatus.
