The firm served as co-counsel to Evergreen Solar in its chapter 11 bankruptcy case in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Evergreen manufactured String Ribbon® solar power products with its proprietary, low-cost silicon-wafer technology. The company’s patented wafer-manufacturing technology used significantly less polysilicon than conventional processes and its products provide reliable and environmentally clean electric power for residential and commercial applications globally. The noteholders agreed to support one or more asset sales as part of the restructuring.
