Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones to Open Texas Office With the Addition of Michael Warner
January 11, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones (“PSZJ”), the largest bankruptcy restructuring boutique in the country, has opened up a Texas office with the addition of Michael Warner, a nationally recognized restructuring lawyer and one of the most well-respected bankruptcy lawyers in the Lone Star State. Joining Mr. Warner to open up PSZJ’s new office, which will be headquartered in Houston, will be Benjamin L. Wallen, Ayala A. Hassell, Kerri L. LaBrada, and Denise Mendoza. The group, which is coming to PSZJ from Cole Schotz, has been co-counsel to PSZJ on several matters, including recently in connection with representation of the creditors’ committee in the high-profile restructuring of department store behemoth Neiman Marcus.

Mr. Warner’s practice includes representation of debtors, creditors' committees, liquidating trustees, and private equity funds in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings in the financial services, food, oil and gas, real estate, retail, and steel industries. In addition to Neiman, Mr. Warner has been involved in some of the most significant chapter 11 cases filed in Texas.
